About This Group
This is a sales group for early-stage founders who are either first-time founders or owners of stable small businesses. They are either selling new solutions, entering new markets, or scaling sales processes.
Selling a new solution – or selling to a new market – in an established small business, or selling a new solution as a brand new company, carry common challenges when it comes to bringing your value to market with the average buyer who needs your solution.
This sales membership provides 1) daily "office hours" to allow all group members to bring conversations about deals, sales process questions, strategy topics, and the like. 2) Additionally, each member gets to select 2-5 account or contact targets that Tristan will pursue for sales conversations across a month's time in a fractional capacity. It's a rolling list of targets, such that if you want to switch one out month-to-month you can make that selection and take back old leads you assigned to Tristan. 3) We track your business goals month-to-month in a personalized capacity to keep things organized. 4) We bring expert sales pros to the table if we need to, in order to work through more complex sales challenges and keep your revenue operations from getting stuck. 5) Members have a channel with us. They can reach out with a scenario they need help with
We function as a "hotline" to work through sales difficulties or to expand member successes.
We work on establishing sales strategy, discussing tactical strategies for full-cycle sales (from lead generation through closed-won new customer relationships) to allow founders and stable small businesses gain traction with what they are selling in less time and with longer-term benefit. We also provide a think-tank benefit to help companies work through scaling challenges.
Sales professionals working in a startup environment can also benefit from engaging in this group for our "ask-me-anything" sessions and topical discussions week-to-week.
Related to this, as mentioned before, we also bring in other veteran sales pros to speak on topics that can help everyone become better sales professionals and more rapidly succeed in growing from the early-stage through to an exit or to having a legacy business that lasts for decades and even into the next generation of one's family.
Finally, we have a network of connections around us that relate to startup needs, from technology partners we recommend, intellectual property/patent investment connections, investor connections and advisors, and business acquisition contacts that could be introduced to SP4F members when they meet criteria for such introductions.
